Unionville Portrait!

Portraits using off-camera flash! Today I used mostly 24mm f1.4 lens with my SB 600 as an off camera flash.

Recently, I am looking heavily into flash photography (ever since the studio lighting session with TOL) and this portrait session with Vea definitely helped me try out few things.

All of the shots were taken with bare flash (no diffuser, reflector ect). I am really looking forward to acquiring some basic off camera flash gears like shoot-through umbrella and light-stands πŸ˜€

The above two photos were actually taken without any flash but I think as my knowledge of flash photography works, I will be able to ‘cook’ the lights better πŸ˜‰

Stay tuned for future posts in my adventures into the world of flash photography! πŸ˜€

  1. The two photos above (the girl by the window looking at her phone) are perfect! Such a good exposure and the colour is amazing. very nice shots!!

    • Thank you for the compliment πŸ˜€

Light from the window created a very soft mood for the photo. It was a cloudy day too, which helped πŸ˜‰
