Today I am going to write the post in two parts, since I want to concentrate on the portrait section of the post in part 2 and introduce the location we visited in this post (part 1).
Over the weekend, with the people of TOL, we went to visit Kortright Conservation Centre in Vaughn.
I wanted to try out the off camera flash photography during this visit and I was extremely pleased with the results 😀 I used SB 600 and SB 800 (my friend Sangyun’s) to take the portraits. You can expect to see many more portrait shots in my follow up post 😉
Although the weather was hot and the sun was high up in the sky (it was around 11AM, when I took most of these photos), not the best of conditions to take photos :P, but the tall trees provided the shade and nice beams of light 😀
The trail in the conservation area is really nice and there are MANY interesting spots to take photographs. Remember to take water though, it gets pretty hot 😉
